AUTODESK UNVEILS NEW BRAND IDENTITY

Our friends at Autodesk, the leading maker of 3D modeling and design software, recently unveiled a new logo and suite of products as part of a company-wide rebrand. According to reports, the design system was created entirely in-house by Autodesk’s design team as a move to expand its consumer offerings toward cloud- and mobile-centred platforms in Asia.

In the company’s official blog, Chris Bradshaw, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Autodesk, said that “the new Autodesk is not just a surface change, but a reflection of how we are evolving our business.” The new branding was inspired by origami, and represents the Autodesk portfolio by showcasing the convergence of art and science, and form and function.

  1. I like the new concept. The old designs were quite confusing and the products didn’t have the same look. Now I’m looking forward to see what the UI will look like.
    There’s just one little thing that I don’t understand: Why has the company logo a totally different design from the rest?
